Civil Marriage Vote Likely in Maryland This Week

Noah and I just couldn't sit home knowing that our delegates will be debating on SB 116 this week in the Maryland House of Delegates.

So this morning, we headed out to Annapolis bright and early to join the folks from Equality Maryland to greet some of our allies in the House on their way into session today.

Noah staring at the huge American flag in Annapolis. He loves his country!

Noah giving a very spirited speech as he stood where George Washington stood many many years ago

Noah was very enthusiastic when the Delegates would clap for themselves and he would clap along and sing. The police asked him to be quiet, and eventually they held the door open for us to leave.

The debate on the bill has been pushed until tomorrow. Noah and I may head back to greet delegates again tomorrow and Thursday but we're not sure.

Either way, we're really excited for our state, and we're really happy we have a chance to be a part of history.

HA. Little troublemaker! So much for "listening to constituents," eh? ;)
